Mary Noel Parmer is originally from Dallas Texas. She attended Hardin-Simmons University. She currently resides in San Angelo Texas with her husband Sean and their three children; Luke - 13, Pierce - 11, and Parris - 8 (Diva in training).
Mary began singing as a young child...it was a family thing...they loved singing harmony! Her mom played the piano and her dad played the guitar. She began playing the guitar when her youngest child was a baby. Mary wrote her first song "Thrift Store Junkie" in 2008 which is based on true events. She and her husband love a bargain! She just completed a very special song about her father, Sam Roscoe Marrs, which she is very proud of, titled "My Daddy".
Mary loves to sing songs that have a message and move people -
"It's about connecting with and inspiring others."
Mary leads worship at Dove Creek Baptist Church and other events. She enjoys making music at the Chicken Farm on the first Saturday of each month. She loves playing music with the Divas -
"A great group of women with wonderful talent. Not only do we sing and make music together, but we are friends."
"The Lord is my strength and my song." Psalm118:14
