Ann Southall
Ann has a MA degree from Texas Womens' University in dance with specialization in performace and choreography. She presently resides in San Angelo Texas and teaches music for San Angelo Independent School District. Ann is a proud mother of three and grandmother of three.
Ann first played bass with Angelo Jazz Band - meanwhile cranking up Led Zepplin and playing along with John Paul Jones. She has played with The Cavaliers, Sing Gang, Jimmy Rose, Manny Campos, Rockhounds, and Jazz House Blues Band. A few highlights in Ann's career have been playing in house bands for Anacani, Harry Connick Sr., Johnny Gimble, and Delbert Snook.
"My thoughts about Las Divas? I told my daughter it's so special I don't wanna talk about it - might spoil it! This much songwriting talent along with talent as players and vocalists.....it's a rare combination. I can't think about it too much...I get a little overwhelmed at the potential!"
